We really need the Motorhome back no later than 6pm - to be ready for the next rental. Sorry we do like you being punctual as we want to make sure the vehicle is fully prepared for the next group to enjoy their holiday.
How long should I allow for the handover at the beginning of the holiday?

Yes we can, there is a charge for this service. We will personally arrange to pick you up at Gatwick £15. We will take you (up to 4 of you) and all your luggage back to the house where we keep the motorhome. We can also pick you up at Horley Train Station (no charge).

What happens if I hire in the winter months or when there has been a cold spell?
If the temperature falls below 4c the water will automatically drain from the boiler as there is chance of frost damage to the boiler and as such we don’t allow the use of the water tank in these conditions. We will supply a 10ltr water container with a tap that you can use for cocking and washing up with. You can still use the boiler for warm air heating and there’s an electric heater that runs off the mains. The toilet will still flush but there will be no water for the sinks and shower you will have to use the 10ltr water container supplied or the campsite’s shower and washing facilities.

The insurance is given on the quote as a guide price this may vary from driver to drive. The hirer will have to take out the insurance themselves, we will supply all the information in the quote. We recommend you get a quote before going ahead with your booking to avoid any disappointment. We are not an insurance broker we recommend www.dayinsure.co.uk as they offer motorhome insurance from 1 to 28 days they cover drivers from 25 to 75 years old, their insurance excess is £1000. They cover UK, EU, EEA, Australian, New Zealand, South African and Swiss licence-holders.

Further details obtainable on request) the license must be unendorsed (except for speeding and parking offences) and must be produced at the time of collecting the vehicle. Visitors from abroad must hold a current international driving permit or license (Foreign license holders will incur an additional insurance premium charge). Any current endorsements (within 3 years) will incur an additional insurance premium charge. 2 Forms of proof of identity (including photo such as a passport) must be produced by all hirers at the start of the hire ie. You will need to pay a security deposit for £1250 which will be returned to you on the safe return of the motorhome. This is to insure the motorhome safe return and if it has been damaged while on hire we will hold onto the security deposit until the motorhome has been repaired under the hires insurance and the excess and all costs have been paid in full.
